Next Meeting
The next Green Party of Pennsylvania business meeting will be held in conjunction with our 2010 State Nominating Convention, scheduled for the weekend of February 20-21.

The convention will take place at the Holiday Inn Monroeville, just east of Pittsburgh. The final agenda is below. Generally speaking there will be workshops and speakers on Saturday, February 20 and a state business meeting on Sunday, February 21. The state business meeting will also serve as a nominating convention for candidates.

Campaign School

We are also pleased to announce that we will have a special Campaign School as part of the convention. Taking place on Saturday, February 20, the Campaign School will feature a series of workshops each designed to help would-be candidates and their supporters plan, organize, and execute successful campaigns for public office. The Campaign School will be led by veteran Georgia Green Party member and founder Hugh Esco. Hugh is not only a long-time Green, national delegate, and former candidate for state-wide office, but he is also the head of his own campaign consultation practice, Campaign Foundations.

Other Workshops

For those not attending the Campaign School, additional workshops will be offered on Saturday. Titles are still being finalized, but we have confirmed workshops on the following topics:

  • Marcellus Shale and fracking
  • Ballot Access in Pennsylvania
  • Statewide Petition Planning
  • Land Rights Philosophy of the Green Party
  • Green-Labor Alliance
  • Organizing an Effective Local

    Registration

In order to cover our costs, registration will cost $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door -- so please pre-register!

    Please register online here.
