Why I'm running for office: I"m running for office because the Green Party should be in charge of this country and if our members don't run, we'll never get there. Just look at the ten key values and apply them to any one of the current political issues and you have a recipe for success. Take non-violence for example. If a Green was in office, we wouldn't have gone to war, we wouldn't have lost so many more lives and we wouldn't be borrowing 2 billion dollars a day adding to our staggering deficit. I am a frugal moderate very interested in changing the way people think. For instance, excessive consumption is not good for the economy if it puts people in debt. I would like teach people to save their money for the very rainy days we have in our future. I would like to shackle the power of the corporation to dictate American life and I would like to keep Adams County the beautiful, safe place I love all with the help of my fellow citizens.
