I have been a social and environmental activist since I found out I was pregnant with my son (47 years ago) and realized that I am responsible for the world he would grow up in.  When I first heard about the Green Party (about 30 years ago) and what it stood for - it was a no brainer. I recognized immediately that these were my people.  I have never doubted that decision.
