Bucks Greens to Join SAVE Bucks Votes in March!

Please note that our March meeting will be held the 3rd Monday of the month, for the convenience of members planning to attend the GPPA Convention in Pittsburgh on the 23rd & 24th.

We are taking advantage of this schedule shift to offer a special opportunity to meet with SAVE Bucks Votes, whose grassroots campaign for secure, hand-marked paper ballots is taking on a new urgency now that our county commissioners are poised to make a purchasing decision that will lock Bucks County into voting machines for at least a decade to come.

Bucks Greens endorsed SAVE Bucks Votes in September 2017, and one of our elected officials (Stuart Chen-Hayes, Judge of Elections, Newtown) has regularly attended and reported on the meetings of this committed grassroots advocacy group.  We appreciate their welcoming us to attend their monthly meeting, where we will discuss the possibility of mounting a Green campaign for county commissioner focusing on this issue.  With a candidate in the race focusing on Bucks County's need for secure, accurate, and verifiable elections, we can ensure that all candidates are pushed to take a clear public stand on this issue.

If interested in this electoral strategy, be sure to join your Bucks County Green Party Monday night!
