Join us in Warminster for our monthly meeting & doughnuts at the iconic Yum Yum Bake Shop, now in its sixth decade of family ownership.
Voter Registration Days come to BCCC Perkasie! This is a smaller campus than Newtown, but we would love to have a presence here on one if not both of these days. Plan to attend our Monday night meeting in Warminster to pick up tabling materials.
This is annually a great opportunity to add to our mailing list, share candidate literature and promote our endorsed local actions!
Saw Creek Estates Community Association is hosting a Meet and Greet at the Top of the World Restaurant on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 12 PM to 2 PM. This event will be open to area residents from both Pike and Monroe counties to Meet & Greet the Candidates running in the November election.
This is a unique opportunity for residents and candidates to meet in an informal setting, allowing them to share thoughts and concerns on issues of interests. There will be no formal agenda, speaking requirement or mandatory question & answer session. To date, John J. Sweeney the Green Party candidate for Senate district 20 has confirmed attendance as well as both Representative Brown (189th Legislative District) and her opponent Mr. Adam Rodriquez.
As one of the largest private communities in the Poconos, Saw Creek Estates represents almost 3,000 property owners and potential voters.
We need Greens outside the polls on election day to ensure that our statewide candidates receive 2% or more of the vote. Our minor political party status depends on it! We know from experience that contacting voters on their way in to the polls significantly increases Green votes. This is THE most important way to contribute to our campaigns. It is also a great way to raise awareness of your county Green Party if you have an active local or want to help build one.
Please RSVP today to spend the day (or a portion thereof) at a polling place convenient to you. You will be contacted by an organizer shortly to confirm your location. Meanwhile, be sure to put in for a day off & share this opportunity within your local & among your progressive & activist friends!
