Have you ever wanted to run for office? Is a seat open in your municipality? This is our intro course to how to get on the ballot as a Green and some tools you can use to start your campaign.
After the introduction on how to run for new members, we will begin working on our planning meeting. We need all candidates, volunteers, and delegates from all 67 counties to participate in our comprehensive planning efforts and help us recruit green and independent candidates to run for office in communities without a candidate.
In this discussion, we will be discussing how we should approach leadership shortages, and how we should recruit candidates for different types of campaigns. We will also discuss what we need to do to start on our first 2 essential working groups. Phone banking, and Campaign PAC working groups.

6:00-10 introductions
6:10-45 How to run for office
6:45-55 old business
6:55-05 new business
7:05-8:00 comprehensive planning discussion using Habermas's communicative action theory.
